At CoachMii, we recognise the importance of working with a coach who is properly trained and qualified to support you. To ensure this, we have implemented a rigorous approval policy every coach must meet, before their services are listed on our platform.
Coaches who satisfy our professional criteria receive the official CoachMii Verified Badge on their profiles, signifying their commitment to excellence.
CoachMii Verification Standards
To be listed in our directory, coaches must provide:
Individual Profiles:
A relevant coaching qualification and valid insurance coverage; or Proof of registration with a recognised coaching professional body.
Organisation Profiles:
A relevant coaching qualification and insurance coverage for at least one member; or
Proof of registration with a professional body by the organisation or a member.
Regulation of Coaching:
Currently, coaching in the UK is not legally regulated, and no specific level of training is mandated. To bridge this gap, we have established a verification process to ensure any coach listed on CoachMii has undergone relevant training.
We also encourage coaches to provide comprehensive information about their training and experience to help clients make informed decisions.
Profile Content:
The content displayed on a coach’s profile is supplied directly by the coach. While we review all profiles before initial publication, CoachMii does not accept responsibility for the accuracy of the information provided.
Professional Bodies:
Although not legally required, registration with a professional body provides additional assurances, such as meeting qualification standards, adhering to a code of ethics, and being subject to a complaints process. While coaches are not obligated to register with a professional body, such membership can enhance trust and credibility.
